What To Expect:

If you have never sent a part out to be rebuilt before, you are probably wondering how the process works and what to expect.

This page walks you through how the rebuild process works.

Place Your order

Start by placing your rebuild service order on the website. Once that is done, you are officially in the system and ready to go. From there you will ship your regulator in when you are ready. You pay shipping to me and I will pay shipping back to you.

Remove, package and ship your regulator

You will need to send in the complete regulator, including the window motor.

When packaging the regulator:

  • Use a sturdy box

  • add padding (extra around the motor)

  • try to keep everything from moving around inside.

Also, throw your name and/or order number in the box. It just helps me keep everything organized on my end.

Inspection, rebuild, and qC

Once your regulator arrives, I disassemble, clean and inspect your regulator. The gear and cables will be discarded and replaced with my upgraded kit. Once completed the unit will be inspected and tested for function and smooth operation.

Return Shipping

Once the regulator rebuild is complete I will package it up and get it shipped back to you. I will cover the return shipping cost. Once it is shipped you will receive an email with tracking information.
